When I first met Jill I went home and said to Bob and Emily, “We are so lucky; I just saw the perfect room and the woman I met is incredible. Then Jill mentioned to me “Oh, you are going to love Gina (our in house preferred caterer), her creativity enhances her passion for the food she prepares”. Bob, Emily and I are in awe of what you accomplished this weekend. I was speechless when I walked into Legacy Ballroom at the JCC and saw all of the beauty and details!

 From the labels on the wine bottles, the circus theme pictures, the entrance way-(Emily got the “Fabric illusion she wanted!”, the popcorn cart, the snow cones (what a hit),  the presentation of the food and how delicious it was the entire weekend to so many other details that our memories are going to re-live- I wish I was only half as good in my teaching position! A friend of mine from Margate NJ wants to know if Gina caters in New Jersey, and a dear friend of my mom’s who has never been to this area  works with Steve Wynn in New Jersey and Las Vegas said Lancaster has the best kept secret! That’s only a few of the many compliments you were given. Thanks for all of your time above and beyond what should have been.

The wedding exceeded my expectations! The lighting in the ballroom was perfect on setting the “mood” for that elegant laid back feeling I was looking for. Everyone complimented on the building itself and how we picked such a good location. The small details were definitely noticed.

My husband (still getting used to that!) was really happy as well. We kept him out of the loop as much as possible, as he was so focused on his business we didn’t want to burden him with wedding planning. He stated we did an excellent job on decorating, although we could’ve just went for bare minimum and still got away with it since the JCC was so beautifully renovated.

Everything was as perfect as it could possibly get, from the high hat tables, to the well maintained bathrooms and of course the bridal suite as well, which that basket of last minute items and “fix its” really came in handy. The bridesmaids specially liked their designated cubbies (thanks for that personal touch). Jill we couldn’t have asked for anything better. I could go on and on about everything we loved!

Thank you so much for all the support and commitment to my special day you and the JCC provided. It was so refreshing to have such wonderful hospitality every step of the way. I will definitely recommend the JCC to my friends and family members and will also consider first the JCC for my next big event as well.

The Legacy Ballroom was the perfect place to hold our son’s Bar Mitzvah. The newly renovated fireside lounge and ballroom were beautiful locations and ideal settings for a fun and high energy party. Jill, the banquet manager was extremely accommodating with everything. She provided an excellent source of referrals for photographers, videographers and florists.  She helped with setting up a group of hotel rooms at a special rate for our out of town guests. Their in house caterer, Food for Thought was easy to work with and full of unique ideas. We had so many guests comment on how much they enjoyed the food.  Our experience more than met our expectations and we highly recommend using these facilities for any special occasion.

In the midst of getting married, taking a million pictures, and making it to the reception, we were able to appreciate the wonderful facility where we held our reception. While taking the pictures, the photographer commented on how well the facility worked well for beautiful pictures. Many of our guests complimented us on how well decorated, and arranged the reception hall was. Looking back on that wonderful day, Brian, and I are very pleased with our choice of Legacy for our reception. It is a very beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed working with Jill. We were very pleased the service we received, and would strongly recommend the Legacy Ballroom to anyone else looking for a banquet facility.

We had a fantastic experience at Legacy Ballroon and the actual event was amazing and went off without a hitch. Jill acts not only as a Legacy liason but as part wedding planner and knows more than any bride! Being able to get in and set up the day before is great and they really worked with us if we wanted something specific (like allowing platforms in the ballroom). If we would do a big wedding all over, we would still have it here!
