Teresa and Jon are being married at Legacy Ballroom! Their St. Patty’s Day inspired reception looks very…well…. St. Patty’s Day! It’s adorably set with green everywhere! Of course green looks wonderful against our gold walls because every color looks great at Legacy! Their table cards are set up and ready to go and they are no other than… four leaf clovers. Laura and Patricks wedding was so wonderful. Both families were so great to work with it just makes my job even more pleasureable than it usually is! The style was simple but elegant with pillar candles and greens… perfect for the holidays. Gina, from Food for Thought catered the affair and the food looked scrumptous. Notice the beautiful bar Gina creates with greens and candles. The display looks so professional. Congratulations to Laura and Patrick and their families!

Just put a marble inside of the balloon. Tie it with a fishline (for the invisible look) or a ribbon. Hang it from the ceiling to create this” roof” over your guests heads. Change the color for a totally different feeling! (inspired by Pinterest)

SARAH AND SCOTTS WEDDING

I am getting the room ready right now for Sarah and Scott’s wedding. As you well know Legacy Ballroom is inside of the Jewish Communtiy Center. Hopefully you all realize that anybody of any faith is welcome at Legacy. Living proof….right now there stands TWO Christmas trees in our lobby and Fireside Lounge because as we are well aware it is the week before Christmas and Legacy AIMS TO PLEASE! The decor is beautiful! The pictures posted show the hurricaine with berries and a pillar candle. Of course, Christmas greens and a homemade Christmas Cookie (from the grandma’s recipes) adorn the table as well. Laterns and a country chair and other little personal touches will let everyone know they are at Sarah and Scott’s wedding! Scott cut all of the fabric for the napkins and the burlap table runner is just amazing! Sarah had a vision for this room and I can’t wait for her to see it with all of the candles lit. The whooppie pie tower is great! Of course, adorned with a wedding cake at the top! I am so excited to greet the guests and take their coats from them and send them on their way to party for all evening long!!!

SAMI AND DAN’S WEDDING

So…..”the weather outside is frightening and the” …….WAIT….wrong time of year! Snow doesn’t happen at Halloween time! Well, yes…here in Lancaster it does. BUT no fear…Legacy Ballroom is still here…and all dressed up for a wedding tonight! The plows have been through and Ian (our handy and dependable maintenance man) is out shoveling snow and getting ready for our guests to arrive! Rettews is already in the kitchen cooking the wonderful food and Sami and Dan’s WEDDING WILL GO ON! The decor for this wedding is all in the pictures! There are pictures everywhere of the bride and groom and their families. Notice the picture of the gigantic frames that adorn pictures of Sami and Dan and then all of the family members that made them what they are…so thoughtful and beautiful! Sami made her own wedding cake….it’s like a dream cake! The candy bar is fantastic! The Florida relatives must be having a blast with the snow they have NEVER seen before! I can’t wait for the wedding to begin!!! Stand by for pictures…..I need to go and get the ballroom ready! ~~Jill Sherman, Banquet Manager
